There are two categories; one for individuals and one for organisations who consistently put the needs of others first and have made their mark on society.
The award is free to enter and there is a bursary available for finalists to attend the awards ceremony.
Hypo Hounds: Winner of the 2025 Patron's Award for Organisations
Hypo Hounds train dogs to detect and alert to the dangerous changes their Type 1 Diabetic owner’s blood sugars.
By alerting their owners or their families to these changes in blood sugars, Hypo Hounds can help to prevent potentially life-threatening hypoglycemic attacks.
